We are looking for a Designer who wants to be a Lead Designer / Creative Lead, who wants to join a high energy, all action Content & Marketing team, who work across health, leisure and fitness.
You\’ll be the Lead Designer in a team of 2 and while prior experience in a Lead role isn\’t a must have you must be able to show what you can bring to the role.
The responsibilities are split into 2 main parts:
- Leadership, mentorship, guidance, development & progression of another Designer.
- Strategic interpretation of marketing campaigns, critiquing, enhancing, and elevating marketing\’s ideas and bringing them to life.
Within the role you\’ll be the go-to for all things creative & design over print, digital, web and mobile. The team are very modern, collaborative and innovative in their industry. They are looking to push boundaries in their work and stand-out.
To be considered for the role you\’ll need to be confident in full Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign…) over a wide range of online and offline / print designs. Any additional experience with the below would be beneficial, but can be picked up.
You\’ll join a team that trust in your ability and your ideas, who want to facilitate progression and don\’t put red tape on creativity.
Role overview:
- Lead creative and design for the business
- Digital & print/offline design – full lifecycle from research, strategy and concept design through to inception/production.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to bring ideas to life.
- Customer & user research and segmentation.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce eye-catching, clear, fit for purpose designs inline with brand guidelines and company voice.
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- UX/UI – with a focus on UX for customer demographic. Wireframes & mock-ups for web and mobile. Figma (ideally) or XD
- Be involved in content creation for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter / X, TikTok.
- Aid in videography, editing & animation – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom (not a dealbreaker)
The role is varied and you\’ll need to be organised and be adaptable. You\’ll have the full support of the wider Marketing team and you\’re own training budget for upskilling in any of the above.
The role is based in the Chester HQ, with additional travel to sites in Cheshire needed when applicable. You\’ll need to be able to drive and have you\’re own transport. The team go into the office 1-2 days a week, with the other days WFH. They offer flexible hours and have a non-corporate, casual way of working.
Salary is up to £30,500, with regular reviews, cost of living increases. You\’ll get a Mac and home office kit out, 26 days holiday + BH, free gym & leisure membership, additional employee perks.
