The Sales Development Team Manager (International) is responsible for overseeing a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development Representatives. The Sales Development Representative team are often the first people that prospective customers and partners engage with at KnowBe4 and play an important role in generating genuine interest and nurturing the relationship to the point of handing off to the Sales Team.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development Representatives
  • Oversee the follow‑up and qualifying of direct and partner leads by SDRs
  • Monitor the daily statistics of the Sales Development Representatives and identify any discrepancies in reporting
  • Support Channel Sales Development Representatives by assisting with partner escalations
  • Ensure all procedures and policies are followed by team members and pinpoint any areas of improvement to increase efficiency
  • Be the first line of support to the team to answer questions and direct on best practices
  • Execute performance reviews with team members
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts
  • Ensure the team is effectively leveraging a sales tool to discover new leads
  • Tag in on calls with team members, as necessary
  • Coordinate and align with Global Sales Director on the performance (goals/plans) of the SDR Team
  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field a plus
  • Minimum 1 year Channel/Direct experience
  • Minimum 1 year Leadership experience
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Excellent people skills
  • Managerial experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Friendly phone voice
  • “Pleasantly persistent” as it can take multiple tries to reach a prospect
  • Ability to leave an engaging message and sound interested
