The finance intern will be responsible for assisting the financial accounting team in the ongoing production of complete, accurate and timely financial reporting information. The role will hold responsibility for supporting day-to-day transaction processing, month-end accounting (including reconciliations), external audit as well as scope to support other functions within international finance including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. International finance comprises the team at KnowBe4 responsible for our reporting and related compliance across numerous jurisdictions outside of the United States of America.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end accounting preparation, including the preparation and posting of multiple journals impacting the financial statements
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a month-to-month basis
- Preparation of indirect and direct tax related schedules as required to support these filings
- Assist with external audit queries, by supporting the accounting team with obtaining support and others as required
- Assistance with the preparation of ad-hoc as well as statutory (e.g. financial statement) reporting as required by management
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions through approval and review of invoices, credit card transactions, intercompany invoices, billing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Studying towards a Finance Qualification
- Methodical, diligent, accurate and accountable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Flexible and supportive to other members of the Finance team
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive - requiring little supervisory input on a daily basis
