Data Scientist - Cybersecurity Analyst (Position located in Cheltenham, United Kingdom)

The Cybersecurity Threat Analyst works in the KnowBe4 Threat Research Lab and is responsible for creating solutions and models to detect threats in KnowBe4’s target markets and products.
- Analyzes threat data and implements technical solutions
- Innovates and creates extensions to detection paradigms in end-to-end fashion
- Reviews, understands and reverse engineers phishing attacks and technologies
- Understands and implements broader attack vectors
- Develops detection algorithms (Python, C#) and extracts identifying features of phishing emails
- Understanding human behaviour and communications, and how they can be exploited by attackers
- Uses machine learning to identify broader phishing trends and how to protect against them

Requirements:
- BS or equivalent plus 2 years experience
- MS or equivalent plus 1 year experience
- Experience with phishing
- Statistical analysis skills
- Intermediate Python and C# abilities
- Demonstrable experience in quickly learning and adapting to new areas of technology
- Ability to think outside the box and/or think maliciously to deliver creative solutions
