Know How Resourcing are seeking a skilled, experienced and detail-oriented metal Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces (mostly metal ones), ensuring a high-quality finish in line with project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in industrial, construction painting or related fields to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and effective communication.

Contract: temp-perm, ongoing role.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7.45am start

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
  • Operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently to apply paint or coatings
  • Follow technical specifications and colour matching requirements accurately
  • Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered

Experience

  • Previous experience in construction prepping/spraying/painting or industrial spray painting is preferred
  • FLT licence is advantageous for transporting equipment or materials between sites
  • Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills for clear reporting and teamwork
  • Overhead Crane licence desirable
  • Familiarity with safety procedures related to spray painting and working at heights is desirable
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
