We are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer based in Leeds. The Role: Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer; key responsibilities will be the testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site. · In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels · Testing of LV cabinets and control devices · Complete protection modifications Knowledge and Experience · Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company · Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential. · Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential · The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential · Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility · Have good written and verbal communication skills · Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel · Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment · Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach · Good communication skills · Flexibility to assist in other departments when required Salary and benefits: · Salary negotiable · 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays · Company Profit Share Scheme · Nine-day fortnight, plus two paid breaks · Healthcare cash plan and EAP scheme · Excellent canteen facility with tea, coffee and milk provided · Pension · EV salary sacrifice scheme and EV charging
