Role Purpose
Reporting to the Group Technical Director, the IT Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day IT operations across the business, ensuring the stable, secure, and effective delivery of infrastructure, end-user support, business systems, supplier management, and continuous IT service improvement. The role is responsible for translating business and technology strategy into operational delivery, managing both internal and third-party resources, and ensuring that IT services, standards, security controls, and change initiatives are delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day IT operations across the business, ensuring reliable support for infrastructure, devices, business applications, networks, and end users.
- Implement IT strategy, standards, and policies in line with business priorities and the Group Technical Director's direction.
- Manage internal IT resources and third-party suppliers, including service performance, issue escalation, delivery coordination, and accountability against agreed outcomes.
- Oversee infrastructure and hardware operations, including network services, servers, storage, workstation and device management, and core office technology.
- Ensure the effective administration and support of software and business applications, including Microsoft 365, ERP, and other business-critical platforms.
- Maintain strong oversight of cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, and risk management.
