They are currently recruiting for a Bench Joiner to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the accurate manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery items, working from technical drawings and specifications. The role involves the use of a range of hand tools and woodworking machinery to produce high-quality components, ensuring precision and consistency throughout. Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from CAD Drawings to manufacture high quality bespoke items.
- Compile accurate cutting lists.
- Set up and operate machinery.
- Work out the most appropriate joining methods for the application.
- Assemble display items as per drawing / job sheet.
- Use both hand and power tools.
- Fill, sand and finish wooden products.
- Liaise with Team leaders and Production Manager.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules.
- Any other tasks as deemed necessary by the business.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
