We’re now looking for an ambitious, consultative Business Development Manager to help us grow our impact and expand our apprenticeship partnerships across the dental sector.
As a key member of our Business Development Team, you’ll be responsible for identifying new dental business opportunities, securing apprenticeship starts, and nurturing long-term client relationships. You’ll work closely with SME practices and large corporate organisations, positioning Tempdent as their provider of choice for recruitment and training. This is a high-impact, people-focused sales role where you’ll combine commercial acumen with genuine care for clients and learners alike.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving new business growth within the dental sector through targeted, consultative sales.
- Developing engagement plans to generate high-quality leads and apprenticeship opportunities.
- Managing and growing existing client accounts to maximise long-term value.
- Demonstrating clear ROI for apprenticeships to clients.
- Advising businesses on the apprenticeship levy and funding options.
- Designing bespoke, world-class apprenticeship delivery models.
- Building strong relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and learner administration.
- Representing Tempdent positively and living our values – “Our Heart”.
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll be a confident, motivated sales professional with a consultative approach and a passion for building meaningful partnerships. What you’ll bring to the team:
- Proven B2B sales and account management experience.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- The ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
- Experience in apprenticeships, training, ideally in the dental sector.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN or Challenger (desirable).
- Access to a car and flexibility to travel nationally, with the ability to commit to occasional overnight stays.
