Position: Remote Functional Skills Tutor
Location: Remote based *must be located in the U.K due to GDPR
Salary: Up to ÂŁ29,000
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team remotely. As a tutor, you will support and inspire a diverse group of learners, helping them navigate their learning journey and achieve their qualifications. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality, remote teaching that motivates learners to stay on track and complete their functional skills goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and engage learners to achieve functional skills qualifications within set timeframes
- Deliver both group and 1:1 sessions remotely
- Provide additional learning support as needed, ensuring learners' individual needs are met
- Collaborate with operational teams to conduct initial diagnostic assessments for learners
- Use approved resources to deliver impactful functional skills sessions that promote learner success
What We Need From You:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Functional Skills (English and Maths)
- Relevant teaching and assessor qualifications
- Experience delivering additional learning support
- Proven experience teaching functional skills in a remote setting
- Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to learners’ needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
