As a Real Estate Partnerships Manager at Knotel, you will support the Real Estate Partnerships Directors and the wider Commercial Team in expanding its portfolio through Knotel Services. This role focuses on business development support, deal support, market analysis, coordination across teams, and day-to-day execution of real estate and asset management activities. Knotel Services is where we provide the services within our portfolio, including Design & Delivery, Sales & Marketing, and Workplace Services, to Owners and Occupiers.
You will help deliver the commercial aspects of Knotel services opportunities, property acquisition, lease negotiations, and portfolio optimisation, while developing your knowledge of the commercial real estate market and Knotel’s operating model. You will be part of the Commercial Team which includes Sales, Relationship Management, Broker Partnerships, Marketing, and Real Estate. The Commercial Team works together to ensure that Supply and Demand are always aligned. This role is well suited to a developing real estate professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to transactions, asset management, and cross-functional commercial work within a fast-growing platform.
Key responsibilities:- Support revenue growth initiatives through Knotel Services opportunities and matched customer deals.
- Assist in maintaining sales pipelines, deal tracking, and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
- Support the preparation of commercial strategies, presentations, and pitch materials.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities in the commercial real estate sector.
- Work closely with Newmark (our Parent Company) to explore and capitalize on market opportunities via Owners, Occupiers, or other Agents/Brokers to expand our footprint.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Knotel's offerings and tailor presentations to meet the needs of different types of stakeholders.
- Assist in the drafting and negotiations of Contracts and Leases on Knotel's behalf.
- Lead transactions through to completion.
- Assist with the day-to-day asset management and Real Estate requirements of our existing portfolio, including rent reviews, lease amendments, LTAs, lease extensions, contract negotiations, and lease admin reviews alongside the Lease Administration team.
- Assist in the management of relationships with property owners, occupiers, advisors/brokers, and other key stakeholders.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry developments that could impact Knotel's operations. Ensure that all commercial activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and Company procedures.
- Work cross-functionally with not just the Commercial Team but other internal teams throughout the entire Knotel ecosystem including Design & Delivery, Workspace Operations, Legal, and Finance.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate.
- Exposure to leasing transactions, asset management, or tenant representation is beneficial.
- Experience in Central London markets is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interest in developing a career in commercial real estate.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Analytical skills, including comfort with Excel and financial data.
- Experience with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn commercial negotiations and transaction processes.
