Business Support Co‑Ordinator – Purpose: The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the NaughtOne sites in Harrogate, London and Birstall. They will provide Health & Safety, facilities and general business support across each location, working closely with key stakeholders. In addition, the role holder will support the NaughtOne leadership team with diary and travel management.

Responsibilities / Key Deliverables

  • Act as a central point of contact for the day‑to‑day running of NaughtOne facilities and provide administrative support to contribute to the smooth running of each site.
  • Ensure appropriate contractor management checks and Risk Assessment Management Systems are in place; manage contractors for delivery and execution of site works / improvements.
  • Ensure the sites are fully compliant with all H&S legislation.
  • Ensure that each site has the appropriate supplies and materials required for optimum functionality and comfort.
  • Support new joiners and internal visitors to site ensuring they have all the necessary information about how to access the offices and the facilities available.
  • Ensure a positive office experience at Head Office & troubleshoot any issues and introduce new initiatives.
  • Diary management, arranging internal meetings/room bookings, liaising with internal and external contacts including senior stakeholders.
  • Raise purchase orders as required, order stationery, plan and arrange travel for the MD.
  • Manage incoming emails for the MD and action where relevant.
  • Organise business events.

Role Requirements

  • GCSE passes in Maths & English.
  • 3 years’ experience in an administrative role ideally gained in HR, Office Administration or Health & Safety.
  • Formal qualification in Project Management (desired, not essential).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Multitasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly proficient technical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Self‑motivated and forward‑thinking with drive and determination.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Experience dealing with all levels of colleagues, including senior management.
  • A proven and active team player, willing to help others to achieve results with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
  • Ability to draft clear and concise responses to queries/questions.
  • Flexibility, desire, and confidence to get things done with a proactive approach.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.

Dimension of the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and based from the NaughtOne head office in Harrogate, the role holder will be expected to spend 1 or 2 days per week at the NaughtOne Factory in Birstall and quarterly visits to the London showroom will also be required. Given the nature of the position, the role holder will be expected to be on site at least 4 days per week and will need a full & valid driving license.
