Knit are hiring for an established business for their first business development hire. If you’ve already cut your teeth in business development and you’re ready to build something from the ground up, this role is for you.
You’ll be the driving force behind new business growth, creating, qualifying, and developing high-value opportunities across multiple sectors.
Our client lives and breathes all things digital. They’re a full-service, Prolific North Top 50 Digital Agency, boasting awards across several categories and spanning two locations in the UK, with our 40-person-strong team.
To unlock the next stage of growth, they’ll need a founding Business Development Representative to generate and qualify new business opportunities. Working closely with the founding team you’ll have a direct impact on the growth of the business. You’ll execute highly targeted outbound campaigns and respond to inbound inquiries and event responses in a timely manner, present their value proposition, gather key information around business pain and needs, and qualify them before bringing them into the business to be actively worked to a conclusion by the new business team.
As a founding SDR, you’ll:
- Work directly with the Founding Partner - no layers, no red tape.
- Lead targeted outbound campaigns and convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and position a proven, industry-leading solution that genuinely impacts clients.
- Shape the new business playbook and influence how sales is done from day one.
You’re not a spray-and-pray prospector; you care about quality conversations and understanding the client’s world. You know how to:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in Outbound sales
- Demonstrate strong sales acumen
- Research and find the right people in target accounts.
- Craft messaging that resonates, not annoys.
- Build trust, uncover pain points, and open doors to meaningful meetings.
If you perform, there’s a clear path to build and lead your own team as growth continues.
