A large, established housebuilder is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a 190-unit traditional build residential development in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected developer with a strong pipeline of work, high-quality projects, and excellent long-term career prospects.
The Role:
Working as part of the site management team, you will take responsibility for a section of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day operations on a traditional build housing development
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades, and site labour
- Driving programme and maintaining build schedules
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld across site
- Monitoring build quality and managing snagging processes
- Supporting NHBC inspections and ensuring compliance
- Liaising with senior management and reporting on progress
- Helping deliver excellent customer satisfaction results
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding
- Strong background delivering traditional build housing developments
- Experience working on large-scale residential schemes preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site processes
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential
- NHBC experience preferred
