One of the UK’s most high profile residential developers, acknowledged by their quality product, is seeking a Technical Coordinator to be site-based working on a major regeneration scheme in the heart of London’s East End. Working within a stable team, this 10 year scheme comprises primarily RC framed apartments between 5 and 15 storeys. As the Technical Coordinator, responsibilities will include: Coordinating all Technical Information Checking and Approving Drawings Liaising with all Key Stakeholders Attending Progress Meetings Preparing and Monitoring of Technical Specifications Managing External Consultants Liaising with other departments Applicants must have previous experience working on the delivery of residential projects and possess an up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations. The most suitable individuals will be junior Technical Coordinators working for other developers or Design Coordinators working for contractors looking to take the next step, where progression is readily available. Confident Architectural Technicians or Jobrunning Architects seeking to make the transition will also be considered as the role is seeking those eager to develop themselves further. Those from practices must have worked on residential schemes for developers.
