A leading UK residential developer and house builder is seeking an experienced Engineer / Civil Engineer to join its growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established new homes developer delivering high-quality residential and housing developments across the region.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering civil engineering packages for residential developments, supporting projects from planning through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and coordinating road, sewer and drainage designs
- Managing Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 agreements
- Preparing external levels and private drainage drawings
- Coordinating foundation designs and approvals
- Supporting planning condition discharges
- Liaising with consultants, local authorities and utility providers
- Managing engineering approvals, inspections and bond releases
Requirements
- Experience working for a residential developer, house builder, housing developer or engineering consultancy
- Strong knowledge of residential infrastructure and housing developments
- Experience with Section 38, 104 and 278 agreements
- HNC/HND or similar qualification in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of: AutoCAD, PDS, MicroDrainage, Highways and drainage design standards, Sewers for Adoption and Building Regulations
