MEP Design Manager - Berkshire (Hybrid)*
An MEP Design Manager is urgently sought for a region of this well established contractor with a strong pipeline of future work.
Based predominantly in their Berkshire Head Office, their diverse range of projects consist of education, residential and commercial schemes and cover most of the Western home counties from Oxford to Dorset.
Reporting to the Regional Design Manager Manager, responsibilities will include:
Covering all the preconstruction stages of the MEP Design process.
Primarily look at stages 3 and 4 of the MEP design process.
Review MEP Design from MEP subcontractors.
Value engineer MEP Designs.
Deal with site queries.
Liaise with MEP Consultants and Subcontractors to ensure implementation is as per the design.
Attend and minute Design Team Meetings and workshops.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience within an MEP position and preferably with a focus on the Design side.
Candidates must be comfortable working on-site and be confident communicators.
Candidates could come from developers, contractors or even have worked for an engineering consultancy
