Job Description
Design Manager, London*\\n\\nA fast-growing Contractor is seeking a Design Manager to take the lead on a brand new project comprising of refirbing a commercial building to residential and also a new build residential. This project requires someone with residential or experience, particularly experienced in RC-Frame. Candidates will also need to be able to travel to London on a daily basis.\\n\\nMain responsibilities β Design Manager β will include but not be limited to:\\n\\nEnsuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.\\nEnsuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescale.\\nEnsure proper coordination between different design teams.\\nCost estimating, including recommendation of cost effectiveness and practical a alternatives\\nProject involvement from conception to delivery\\nOverseeing and reviewing design drawingsApplicants will preferably be existing Design/Technical Managers or Senior Design/Technical Coordinators, or experienced Design and Technical Coordinators seeking the next step in their career.\\n \\n This is an ideal opportunity for someone to immerse themselves in a successful business and to take a leading role on unique schemes.\\n\\nA remuneration of up to Β£75k plus package is on offer for the right candidate.\\n *Design Manager, London
