Land & Property Maintenance Technician £40,000 per annum + Company Van Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm I'm working with an established, privately owned housing developer who is looking for a practical, hands-on individual to look after their land, vacant development sites and head office. This is a really varied role that would suit someone who enjoys being out and about, working independently and taking responsibility for their own workload. No two days will be quite the same, with responsibilities ranging from general maintenance and grounds upkeep to site security and CCTV systems. What will you be doing? * Looking after undeveloped land, vacant development sites and the company's head office. * Carrying out general maintenance, minor repairs and dealing with any issues that arise. * Maintaining grounds and external areas, including cutting grass, hedges and overgrown vegetation. * Carrying out regular checks to ensure sites remain safe, tidy and secure. * Installing, maintaining and monitoring CCTV systems and burglar alarms. * Liaising with colleagues across the business and arranging access to sites when required. * Identifying potential health and safety issues and taking appropriate action. What are we looking for? * Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, grounds maintenance or a similar practical role. * Someone who is hands-on, resourceful and happy turning their hand to different tasks. * Confident working independently and organising their own day. * Reliable, proactive and takes pride in their work. * Good awareness of health and safety. * Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge would be useful but isn't essential. What's on offer? * £40,000 basic salary * Company van * Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm * Permanent position * Very occasional overtime * A varied role with plenty of independence and responsibility This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mixture of maintenance, outdoor work and site management rather than being based in one location all day.
