This friendly Architectural practice works with clients in the residential, commercial and community sectors and have particular expertise in hotels, pubs and restaurants. We are looking for a talented and commercially focused Interior Designer to join their team.

Working across a multi sector of projects, you'll play a key role in creating inspiring, commercially successful spaces, contributing from initial concept through to project completion.

You will require a minimum of 3 years UK experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp, and a demonstrable history of working on hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities:
  • Seeing Interior Design projects through from feasibility concept, planning, tender/construction, on site delivery and handover.
  • Developing creative concept design packages and presenting to clients and project team.
  • Create detailed and accurate drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, construction details and joinery details.
  • Compiling detailed FF&E schedules and obtaining quotes.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Undertake site visits and site meetings, producing minutes when required dealing with ad-hoc queries and managing snagging.

This is a full time office based role in Chelmsford - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, four weeks holiday and additional holiday gifted between Christmas and the New Year. Salary circa £30k dependant on experience.
