With a healthy pipeline of projects across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, they are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.\\n\\nRole & Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support the commercial team in managing costs across residential developments.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist with preparing estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Help with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including contract administration.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor costs, variations, and valuations under the guidance of senior QS staff.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial efficiency.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Gain exposure to full project lifecycles, with training and mentoring provided.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience as a Trainee/Assistant QS, ideally within the housebuilding or residential construction sector.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Keen to learn, with a proactive and positive approach.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent qualification/experience) desirable but not essential.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Opportunity to progress your career with a respected, successful housebuilder.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hands-on training and mentoring from experienced Quantity Surveyors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary and benefits package.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Long-term prospects within a stable and growing business
