I'm currently working with a well-established residential developer who is looking to appoint a Trainee Site Manager to join their team across the Milton Keynes / Northamptonshire area. Ideally, they would like to speak with someone who has already gained around a year's experience in a Trainee Site Manager position with another housebuilder or residential developer. That said, they are also open to considering people with less or no direct site management experience who are keen to build a long-term career within construction. Experience of working on volume housing sites would be particularly beneficial.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site
  • Learning how to coordinate trades and subcontractors
  • Assisting with quality checks, snagging and handovers
  • Helping to monitor health & safety standards on site
  • Supporting with site logistics, deliveries and programme
  • Gaining exposure to all aspects of residential site management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Around 1 year's experience as a Trainee Site Manager, ideally within residential construction
  • Previous experience working on volume housing sites would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

This is a great opportunity to join an established residential developer and build a long-term career within site management.
