This role would suit an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist who enjoys a varied position, combining technical drawing responsibilities with regular client interaction. You will be confident producing accurate technical information while also building strong relationships with clients and attending meetings as required.
The Role
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information for residential developments.
- Work closely with leading housebuilder clients throughout the design and delivery process.
- Attend client meetings and provide a professional, solutions-focused service.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working either:
- within an architectural practice specialising exclusively in residential housebuilding, or
- in an in-house drawing/technical department for a UK residential developer.
- Strong technical drawing ability with excellent knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and residential construction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience would be advantageous).
- Comfortable in a client-facing environment with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
