ROLE
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an Audit & Assurance Senior to join their Newcastle office. You will play a key role in delivering audit and accountancy services to a varied portfolio of clients while supporting Managers and Partners on a range of assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited company clients for Manager and Partner review.
- Planning, coordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work.
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and ensure assignments run smoothly.
- Ensuring audit and accounts assignments are completed within agreed budgets and timescales.
- Completing audit files and supporting larger group audit assignments.
- Leading sections of audits and supporting junior team members where required.
- Supporting Managers and Partners with the delivery of high-quality client service.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assisting with general administration and compliance within the Audit & Assurance department.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice or registered audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodology and accounts preparation.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- The ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- A full UK driving licence.
