ACCA or ACA Qualified Senior Accountant / Client Manager – Central London 3 Days from Home & 2 Days in the Office
We are currently working with a growing and well-established accountancy practice looking to hire a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their Central London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who is confident managing their own portfolio, working autonomously, and building strong client relationships within a flexible and supportive environment.
The role:
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 150–200 SME and OMB clients
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and advice
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts (FRS102 / FRS105)
- Preparation of VAT returns, CT600s, and overseeing bookkeeping work
- Handling personal tax returns, including advising on loss relief
- Preparation of management accounts and financial reporting
- Liaising with HMRC and supporting clients with day-to-day queries
- Reviewing work of junior staff and supporting their development
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and implementing systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong experience across VAT, corporation tax (CT600), and personal tax
- Confident managing client relationships and working independently
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 / FRS105
