A growing boutique accountancy practice based in Farringdon is seeking an experienced Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior to join their open-plan, collaborative office of 9+ staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong Accounts and Personal Tax expertise, looking to advance their career in a supportive, client-focused environment.
This role is split approximately 60% Accounts and 40% Tax, giving you a varied and engaging workload:
- Preparation and review of statutory year-end accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
- Managing CT600 filings, Self-Assessment Returns, and HNIW tax compliance.
- Handling complex Personal Tax queries and providing tax advice to clients.
- Supporting partners in client meetings and compliance work.
- Working with a small team of experienced accountants, developing your technical knowledge and career.
This role offers the opportunity to apply your Accounts and Tax knowledge in a practical, hands-on way, contributing directly to client service delivery.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) part or fully qualified.
- 4–5+ years’ experience within an Accounting Practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of Personal Tax, including Self-Assessments and HNIW client filings.
- Proven experience preparing statutory year-end accounts.
- Familiarity with Corporation Tax (CT600) and other compliance filings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and confident working independently as well as in a team.
