A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE) professional looking to take on a varied and client-facing role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients while delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.

The Role

  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns and associated computations.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Supporting senior management with ad-hoc projects, advisory assignments, and practice initiatives.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulations and deadlines.

About You

  • ACA/ACCA qualification, part-qualification, or significant relevant practice experience (QBE).
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and basic tax compliance.
  • Experience reviewing work completed by junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and client assignments effectively.
