ROLE

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an Audit & Assurance Senior to join their Newcastle office. You will play a key role in delivering audit and accountancy services to a varied portfolio of clients while supporting Managers and Partners on a range of assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited company clients for Manager and Partner review.
  • Planning, coordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work.
  • Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and ensure assignments run smoothly.
  • Ensuring audit and accounts assignments are completed within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Completing audit files and supporting larger group audit assignments.
  • Leading sections of audits and supporting junior team members where required.
  • Supporting Managers and Partners with the delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting with general administration and compliance within the Audit & Assurance department.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice or registered audit firm.
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodology and accounts preparation.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • A full UK driving licence.
