The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Cleaner to work 3 hours a day term-time only, either before or after school hours (either 3 hours before 8.30am, or 3 hours in the late afternoon/evening). You will report into the Site Manager who, with the Premises team, helps to maintain the cleanliness of the school so that it is a safe, positive environment for our pupils to learn in.
Duties include:
- To clean all surface areas in designated areas as timetabled by the Site Manager
- Vacuuming and cleaning of floors using supplied equipment
- Cleaning walls and other paintwork as required
- Emptying waste bins in designated areas
- Cleaning pupil & staff toilets (as required)
- Replenishing consumables including handwash, tissues, paper towels (as required)
Our wider responsibilities include:
- Complying with Knightsfield School's Child Protection, Safeguarding & Health & Safety policies
- Participating and engaging with training and relevant meetings (as required)
- Being committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Knightsfield School will provide rubber gloves to mitigate the risk to employees from exposure to strong cleaning materials.
