Our client is a fast-growing, subscription-based support and information business operating across the Property and Art sectors, with clients throughout London, the UK, and internationally. They are now seeking a Marketing & Office Administrator to join their young, vibrant team based in South West London. With low staff turnover, the business prides itself on a relaxed, friendly atmosphere combined with strong professionalism and ambition. The team operates like an extended family, and this role offers the chance to become a truly valued member of the business—supporting key marketing initiatives, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone highly organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You will split your time between marketing support (80%) and office administration (20%), switching comfortably between creative, administrative, and people-focused tasks while developing your skillset.
Marketing Responsibilities (Approx. 80%)
- Client retention initiatives: Assisting with integrated marketing campaigns and executing activities that support retention goals
- Client communications: Creating templates, producing engaging copy, and working with the Content Manager to distribute newsletters, research publications, updates, and other scheduled communications
- Marketing asset design: Producing visually engaging, on-brand materials including emails, landing pages, flyers, and digital banners
- Website updates: Keeping key marketing channels current and aligned with business objectives
- Events support: Coordinating logistics and providing end-to-end marketing support for internal events, prospecting activities, customer events, webinars, seasonal staff gatherings, and the annual Summer Party
- Data and CRM support: Working with the CRM Manager to build segmented contact lists, track campaign performance, and produce clear reports and insights
Office Administration Responsibilities (Approx. 20%)
- General office management: Maintaining the appearance and smooth running of the Battersea office, meeting and greeting visitors, and preparing refreshments
- Documentation & compliance: Supporting the documentation, review, and communication of company procedures and policies (e.g. Health & Safety, GDPR) alongside Directors and Department Heads
- Internal communications: Sending staff communications such as appraisals, performance reviews, bonus forms, and team updates
- Staff events: Supporting internal events (see Marketing section)
- Charities ambassador: Managing relationships with appointed charities and encouraging staff engagement
- Key meetings: Organising and minuting key meetings, including monthly Executive and Board meetings
About You
- Some marketing experience is required (however small), ideally gained in an office environment
- An interest in the property market is preferred but not essential
- A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills with a creative edge and confident copywriting ability
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Enjoys helping others and working collaboratively across teams
- Experience with CRM systems (particularly HubSpot) is advantageous
- Knowledge of the central London property market would be beneficial
