A friendly and down-to-earth HNW couple is looking for a kind and experienced Private PA to support their busy family. The role is based approximately 3 days a week in their home near Horsham, West Sussex, and 2 days a week at the candidate’s own home, with very occasional visits to London. You will need to be a driver with your own car; free parking is available.

The role is varied, with 80/90% working with the wife on private matters and 10/20% supporting the husband with his business. This is an exceptionally interesting role, working with very nice people, where you will be valued and respected.

For the wife/family:
  • Diary management, setting up beauty, doctor, and all other appointments and reminders for wife, family, and their 7-year-old child
  • Managing email, spotting important issues, and actioning school dates, meetings, and events
  • Vet appointments and animal-related issues for their dog and horse
  • Managing household bills, utilities, car tax, insurance, etc.
  • Shopping via Ocado, card, and present buying
  • Property management
  • Holiday research, planning, and arrangements including flights and taxis
  • Organising events such as dinners, parties, and activities, including catering
  • Researching, planning, and booking entertainment
  • Assisting with the sale of another property
  • Managing IT issues and liaising with external IT consultants
  • Handling ad hoc projects
  • Supporting all aspects of family life (excluding childcare)
For the husband:
  • EA work will be largely remote
  • Setting up systems and structures in his office
  • Liaising with other EAs, UHNWs, and principals of associated businesses, requiring total discretion
  • Handling bank transfers and general administration
  • Managing ad hoc projects
The candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Private PA and business EA
  • Kind, caring, efficient, and effective, with good IT skills
  • Patient, forward planner, always one step ahead
  • Flexible, willing, and comfortable with mundane and complex tasks
  • Experience dealing with UHNWs in a business or private capacity
  • Driver with own car
