We are working with a friendly, established architectural practice in Clapham looking for a warm, organised and proactive Office Manager / Front of House to join their small and welcoming team.
This isn't a corporate office environment.
It's a relaxed, creative workplace where you'll become an important part of the team while having the independence and flexibility to maintain your own career, projects or creative practice alongside the role.
The Role
You’ll be the person who keeps the office ticking over - welcoming people in, keeping things organised and making sure the day-to-day admin is taken care of.
The role is varied but manageable, and would suit someone who enjoys being organised, is naturally helpful and likes working with people.
Your responsibilities will include
- Greeting clients, visitors, contractors and consultants
- Answering the phone and managing incoming post
- Keeping physical and digital filing systems organised
- Organising meetings and preparing the boardroom
- Managing the office calendar
- Creating invoices
- Managing four email accounts
- Handling new enquiries
- Providing general administrative support to the Directors
- Helping with inbox and diary management
- Booking travel when required
- Generally keeping the office running smoothly

- Familiarity with Adobe/In Design would be a bonus, but is by no means essential

You don’t need to be a career Office Manager.
In fact, this role could be particularly well suited to someone with a creative background who has excellent organisational and people skills and is looking for a part‑time role to sit alongside their own work.
