An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly polished and experienced Travelling Food & Beverage Manager to join a prestigious UHNW private residence based in Central London.
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing both the Butler and Chef departments, ensuring the delivery of world-class dining experiences and seamless service across multiple residences in London and abroad.
The successful candidate will demonstrate absolute discretion, precision, and consistency, with the ability to anticipate and exceed the expectations of the Principals and their guests at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Butler and Chef teams, ensuring smooth, efficient operations
- Prepare and manage monthly rotas, holiday planning, and staffing schedules
- Maintain departmental purchasing lists, ensuring the highest quality sourcing
- Track team priorities to drive accountability and performance
Service Excellence:
- Establish and uphold impeccable service standards across all residences
- Ensure consistent, high-level service delivery aligned with the Principals’ preferences
- Train, mentor, and manage performance within the service team
- Lead all dining service as the primary point of management during events and formal occasions
Dining & Event Management:
- Plan and execute private dining experiences, events, and formal occasions to the highest standard
- Create detailed seating plans in accordance with protocol and guest dynamics
- Oversee all table settings and presentation, ensuring exceptional attention to detail
- Liaise closely with the Lady of the House to ensure all aesthetics meet expectations
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date guest database, including dietary requirements and preferences
- Deliver highly personalised, seamless dining experiences
- Anticipate needs to ensure discreet and flawless service
Culinary Coordination & Procurement:
- Collaborate with chefs on menu planning, ensuring creativity, variety, and excellence
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring premium and organic sourcing standards
- Oversee procurement processes and quality control
Principal Liaison:
- Prepare and present weekly dining schedules tailored to the Principals’ preferences
- Propose bespoke dining concepts and themed experiences
- Introduce innovative ideas, including curated luxury takeaway evenings
International Travel & Multi-Residence Support:
- Travel with the Principals to support food and beverage operations internationally
- Ensure appropriate staffing and service standards across all locations
- Coordinate deployment of UK-based staff for overseas requirements
Food Safety & Stock Control:
- Maintain strict food hygiene, labelling, and stock rotation standards
- Monitor storage, cleanliness, and compliance with best practices
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a UHNW household or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong leadership experience managing both Front-of-House and kitchen teams
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining, global cuisine, and luxury service standards
- Flexible and able to travel internationally at short notice
