A highly aesthetic, design-led studio working across interiors, art, experiences and objects is seeking an exceptional EA with operational oversight to support the Principal and ensure the studio runs with clarity, calm and precision.

This role combines high-level personal assistance with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the studio. It will suit someone discreet, highly organised, who anticipates needs and takes pride in ensuring things run beautifully behind the scenes.

Beyond capability, cultural alignment is essential. The Principal’s professional and personal worlds are guided by a deep commitment to art, design, aesthetics and considered living. The right person will instinctively understand and respect the creative process and understand the importance of taste and detail. They do not need to be a designer or an artist, but they must feel at ease within a design-led environment and care about quality in all aspects of work.

This is a long-term position for someone who wants to build trust, become embedded in the rhythm of the studio, and support a broad range of creative and operational responsibilities over time.

EA Support
  • Full diary and inbox management
  • Coordination of meetings, travel and external commitments
  • Preparation of agendas, notes and follow-ups
  • Acting as a calm, reliable gatekeeper and point of contact
  • Protecting time, energy and focus in line with strategic priorities
  • Exercising sound judgement in representing the Principal
  • Liaising and delegating closely with the Principal’s Personal PA, also works in the office
Studio Operations
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office/studio
  • Managing image libraries, reference book libraries, sample libraries, etc.
  • Oversight of office systems, filing and processes
  • Liaison with cleaners, IT support and external suppliers
  • Ensuring the studio is organised, functional and welcoming
  • Supporting a positive working environment for the team

The studio environment should feel calm, functional and considered at all times. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining this standard.

IT & Systems Ownership
  • Taking responsibility for core IT systems and infrastructure
  • Managing relationships with external IT support providers
  • Ensuring hardware, software and digital tools are reliable and well-maintained
  • Proactively improving systems to enhance efficiency and organisation
  • Maintaining secure, well-structured digital filing and access protocols
Recruitment & People Coordination
  • Owning recruitment processes from brief through to offer, in partnership with the Principal
  • Managing interview logistics and feedback processes
  • Overseeing onboarding and offboarding administration
  • Maintaining people documentation with external HR support
  • Administering holidays and essential people processes
  • Acting as a central co-ordinator and team leader as needed
  • Helping maintain clarity and consistency when the Principal is travelling
  • Advising on labour resources, identifying stop gaps and how to solve them
Project Coordination Support
  • Tracking actions and deadlines across projects
  • Maintaining organised digital and physical files
  • Supporting presentations and documentation under direction
  • Bringing structure and follow-through to creative processes
  • Minuting meetings and chasing up action points on behalf of the Principal
  • Taking visual documentation as needed and filing appropriately
Finance & Administrative Oversight
  • Reviewing invoices against quotes
  • Liaising with the bookkeeper and accountant
  • Supporting expense reporting and record keeping
  • Maintaining orderly financial documentation
