We’re looking for a bright, capable and well-presented Junior Executive Assistant to join a growing investment firm in Mayfair. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn quickly, take on responsibility and develop into a trusted right-hand support to senior executives.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be expected to sit back and wait for instructions. You’ll be working closely with a Senior Executive Assistant and the wider team, getting involved in everything from diary management and travel to board meetings, presentations and special projects. You’ll learn how a busy investment business operates, gain exposure to senior decision-makers and have plenty of opportunity to grow as the firm continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

No two days will be quite the same. You’ll help keep the team organised, prepared and one step ahead, with responsibilities including:

  • Coordinating busy schedules, arranging meetings and liaising with colleagues in the US across different time zones.
  • Organising travel, itineraries, restaurants, hotels and appointments, making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Preparing board packs and investment materials, collating papers and putting together concise one-page briefs when needed.
  • Helping organise Board and Investment Committee meetings, preparing papers, tracking actions and making sure follow-ups happen.
  • Maintaining action trackers, chasing updates and making sure commitments don’t get lost in the detail.
  • Preparing documents, presentations and basic research, using Word, Excel and PowerPoint to keep information clear and accurate.
  • Handling office administration, deliveries, couriers, suppliers and external contacts.
  • Helping with personal administration for the Principal, picking up ad hoc requests and taking ownership of smaller projects from start to finish.
  • Pitching in wherever needed and providing cover for the Executive Assistant when they’re away.

The candidate:

Above all, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a good head on their shoulders and the ambition to build a career.:

  • You’re naturally organised and enjoy bringing order to a busy day.
  • You notice the little things, take pride in getting them right and care about how your work is presented.
  • You’re proactive. If you spot something that needs doing, you take the initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
  • You’re adaptable and happy to muck in. You understand that supporting a team means rolling up your sleeves and getting involved.
  • You communicate clearly, write excellent English and feel comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
  • You’re confident using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and curious about how AI tools can help you work smarter.
  • You stay calm when plans change, can juggle competing priorities and know when to ask questions or flag an issue.
  • You have good judgement, understand the importance of discretion and always conduct yourself professionally.
  • You’re ambitious, confident without being arrogant, and excited by the idea of taking on more responsibility as you develop.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. They’re much more interested in someone who has the foundations, the curiosity and the drive to become genuinely excellent at what they do.
