The principal of a very successful family-run investment and commercial property development company working across prime location sites in Central London is looking for a fast-paced, efficient, and friendly Executive Assistant. The role is 80% Executive Assistant and 20% Personal Assistant to the principal/director, who is loyal, kind, generous, and super busy.

Core hours are 10am-5pm with some flexibility for out-of-hours during very busy periods. The role is partly based at the principal's home in Hampstead/Barnet, North London, partly from the office in Mayfair, and 1 day a week working from the candidate’s own home. It is a short bus journey from Golders Green/Finchley and Hampstead tube stations, or there is free parking. The role would suit someone living in North London.

The principal is looking for a partnership with the candidate, offering endless opportunities for progression. The role is to support a Board Director of a multi-billion-pound private business, which is a privately owned family business. In addition, the Director has a complex combination of additional commercial and private interests. The role is to fully support the principal in all areas, including the following:

  • Inbox management across several business operations
  • Diary management from multiple feeds
  • Preparation of reports
  • Take dictation
  • Management of both paper and electronic filing systems with cross-referencing
  • Board Director support in providing gatekeeper provision
  • Support the principal’s philanthropic interests
  • Ad hoc projects

Candidate requirements:

  • 5 years of EA experience, ideally in the property industry, but not essential
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail
  • Discretion is essential
  • Tech-savvy – the principal is not tech-savvy
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, able to plan ahead
  • Confident and ambitious
  • Kind and thoughtful
