Shortlisting now for an exceptional Executive Assistant/Private PA to support two entrepreneurial co-founders (CEO & CIO) of a highly successful, global financial trading business operating within the energy markets. The business is fast-paced, ambitious and internationally established. The founders are ex-traders, driven, commercial and decisive, yet down-to-earth, collaborative and great to work with. They value pace, discretion, humour and absolute trust. This is a 40/60 business and private support role and a truly immersive position for a senior EA/PPA who enjoys being at the centre of a demanding, ever-changing environment. You will act as a true gatekeeper and trusted right hand, with significant responsibility, variety and real scope to grow alongside the founders and the business.
Key Details
- Location: Fully flexible/remote (split between your home, their homes in London & Ascot, and a London office)
- Hours: Core 8am–6pm, with lots of flexibility required, you will need to be accessible
- Start Date: ASAP (immediate starters prioritised; up to 1 month notice considered)
Responsibilities
- Acting as a true gatekeeper, protecting time and priorities at all costs
- End-to-end diary management across multiple time zones (business & personal)
- Inbox oversight and priority management
- Global travel coordination (business and private), including last-minute changes
- Client and board support: liaison, agendas, communications
- Private PA support: appointments, personal projects, shopping, contractors, household support
- Liaising with spouses and wider family
- Managing personal finances: payments, subscriptions, invoicing
- Supporting multiple projects (media, podcast, YouTube, publishing, hospitality, investments)
- Organising private events, dinners, members’ clubs, celebrations and children’s parties
- Handling urgent, last-minute and often unusual requests with calm and creativity
The Candidate
- Exceptional EA/PPA experience supporting founders or C-suite
- Proven ability to work at pace in fast-moving, demanding environments
- Comfortable with a blended business and private role
- Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- Extremely IT-savvy; confident with WhatsApp-led communication
- Strong judgement, discretion and emotional intelligence
- Confident, resilient, able to manage up and push back when needed
- A strong work ethic, ambition and sense of humour
- Open on background; experience in financial services, trading or high-growth environments is a plus
