We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Truck Driver to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely within this production facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and materials management.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks within the warehouse environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues for repair.
  • Perform basic equipment repairs as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Own transport due to location of business.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including materials handling techniques.
  • Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
