We are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering manufacturer producing high-quality components for a variety of industries. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CNC Operator, CNC Miller or CNC Machinist with experience operating CNC milling machines within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Produce precision components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Perform quality inspections using callipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment
- Make routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Complete production work safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety
Required Experience
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Operator or CNC Machinist
- Experience operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience producing components to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confident using precision measuring equipment
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Knowledge of precision engineering processes
