We are currently recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Assembler / Mechanical Fitter / Assembly Technician for a growing manufacturer of machinery and automotive components based in Rutland. This is a hands-on role assembling bespoke engineered parts, working across mechanical assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machinery components using hand tools and power tools
- Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Build and fit mechanical assemblies including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Carry out commissioning, testing, and fault finding on completed products
- Ensure all work meets required quality and production standards
- Support general workshop and manufacturing operations
