As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of clients, mainly family-owned limited company clients, dealing with the corporation tax and personal tax issues of the directors and owners of the business.
You will be working at a senior level above four client managers and be responsible for all special work on those clients, as well as controlling the costs and efficiencies of a team of 14 staff., * Organising the allocation of the correct staff on the right job.

Supervising the audit work and ensuring the audit team meets the deadlines and jobs are completed efficiently.

Reviewing files and reporting to the Client Director.

Attending client meetings with the annual file.

Advising the clients on ALL aspects of their affairs.

Ensuring all team members get the right training and experience.

Take responsibility for the quality of the files and completeness of the advice given to clients generally.

Providing an interactive and pro-active level of service.

Dealing with clients with a turnover between GBP5m and GBP30m generally, with some larger clients up to GBP50m.

Preparing tender documents for new clients.
High technical and practical ability, and able to make decisions are essential attributes.
The salary package will be competitive, depending upon the level of qualification and experience. As a firm we offer flexible working hours, built around our core hours of 10am 4pm with hybrid working available. We will offer you support throughout your time with us, and you will have an opportunity to progress and develop where applicable.
