Operating across multiple divisions, we deliver efficient, high-quality projects from pre-construction through to completion, applying industry best practice at every stage. We’re looking for a CAD Technician / Project Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting both our design and project delivery functions. This is a varied, hands-on position. You’ll be responsible for producing drawings, supporting take-offs, and ensuring site teams have everything they need to deliver projects efficiently. You’ll work closely with our CAD & Site Management teams, helping to deliver our projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce and amend CAD drawings for live projects and tenders
- Assist with take-offs and quantity measurements
- Prepare and issue site packs, including drawings and supporting documents
- Compile and maintain H&S folders (RAMS, permits, etc.)
- Support document control and project administration across multiple jobs
- Handle incoming calls and general enquiries where required
- Provide day-to-day admin support to project and site teams
- Pick up additional tasks as needed to keep projects running smoothly
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Practical and proactive approach to work
- Full driving licence
Desirable but not essential
- A background in construction, civils, or a related industry
- Experience with take-offs or reading technical drawings
- Experience in a project admin or coordination role with familiarity of H&S documentation (RAMS, site packs)
Employment Type: Permanent – Full time
Location: Wrexham Head Office
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 08:00am – 16:30pm & Friday 08:00am – 16:00pm (With a 30-minute lunch break each day)
Salary: £28,000.00 per annum
Additional Benefits:
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays per year (Eventually up to 25 days per year – Accrue an additional day’s holiday per year after 2 years’ service)
