We are a small, friendly and flexible bookkeeping practice looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, values flexibility, and takes pride in providing excellent support to clients.
About the Role
We are looking for a confident and organised individual with strong bookkeeping experience and a solid working knowledge of Xero software. Experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is particularly important for this role. The position offers flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, making it ideal for someone seeking a healthy work-life balance within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients
- Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers
- VAT returns
- CIS returns and subcontractor management
- Liaising with clients and providing ongoing bookkeeping support
- Using Xero software efficiently and confidently
Requirements
- Previous bookkeeping experience essential
