Knight Frank is looking to hire a Senior Surveyor to join our V&A department, in Fund Valuations.

Role:
Based in our Head Office, the department is looking to recruit a Senior Surveyor to be responsible for the valuation of balanced funds throughout the UK along whilst supporting and acting as a key member of the client liaison team. The role will be supporting three Associates and Partners who collectively are looking after an £8bn portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly and quarterly valuations of allocated real estate assets, considering market conditions and asset management initiatives.
- Utilise valuation software such as Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, KEL, and MRi proficiently.
- Perform ad hoc loan security valuations accurately and professionally as assigned.
- Attend industry events to promote the department and firm among clients and professional organisations.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries, maintaining high standards of client care.
- Uphold Knight Frank\’s professional image in all interactions and communications.
- Prepare high-quality valuation reports and support the delivery of sector-specific insights.
- Attend client valuation meetings and contribute to discussions on market sectors.
- Develop a strong understanding of property markets and relevant legal case law.
- Stay informed on property and national news to maintain a broad market perspective.
- Meet all work deadlines and ensure valuation file records comply with best practice procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required by RICS.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather insights and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Support three partners, two associates, and two graduates within the V&A business.
Key Experience Required:
- MRICS
- Broad UK property and secured lending valuations experience.
- Registered under the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme.
- Good communication generally, and the ability to write clear and factual reports in a timely manner.
- The personality to engage with other professionals and general public alike in promoting the firm and building your profile in a professional manner.
