Knight Frank is seeking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator for their fast‑paced Investment Lettings and Management team, based in Baker Street and working across London.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and close lettings transactions, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing outstanding communication and service throughout the lettings process.
- Responsible for all initial outstanding monies in relation to properties let.
- Stay responsive and adaptable to changes in the local market, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Uphold Knight Frank’s high professional standards and ensure compliance with all administrative procedures.
- Demonstrate comprehensive market knowledge and maintain awareness of local competition.
- Accurately research market information and present findings in a polished, professional manner.
- Foster goodwill, trust, and confidentiality with all clients and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with other departments and offices when required.
- Communicate fully with all concerned to ensure that lettings are managed in an efficient and professional manner.
- Absorb all aspects of information technology systems in our or our client’s offices and understand their broader applications and availability.
- Meet best practice criteria – remain aware and up to date with current legislation.
- Set preferences for applicants and clients under GDPR regulations.
- Perform all other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.
Key Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the lettings market.
- Proven success in negotiating deals.
- Exceptional client relationship skills.
- Marla desirable but not essential.
Aptitudes & Skills
- Literate and numerate.
- Confident, enthusiastic with eloquent communication skills.
- Demonstrable sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
