We are looking for an experienced individual to grow and help shape the Business Rates service line, working closely and collaboratively with teams across the UK. The role offers access to a broad range of enviable, reputable and market‐leading clients.
We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated surveyor who is prepared to bring fresh ideas and genuinely make a difference within a growing national team.
Key Responsibilities- Be proactive, enthusiastic and driven in providing the highest quality Business Rates advice to our clients.
- Act as a strong team player, contributing to the achievement of the Business Rates department’s goals and objectives.
- Obtain and manage a sufficient volume of instructions to meet personal performance targets.
- Maintain a high professional profile and remain alert to new business opportunities.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the firm’s high professional standards.
- Keep rating knowledge up to date through a commitment to ongoing learning, including attendance at relevant training courses and conferences.
- 1+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) within Rating.
- Recently Qualified MRICS and / or IRRV.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional contacts to support profitable business growth.
- Ability to promote professionally the image and values (“DNA”) of the Partnership.
- Capability to contribute to business strategy discussions with senior stakeholders to support the development of the service line.
- Strong relationship‐builder, able to motivate, nurture and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Fully competent in the skills required of a professional surveyor, consistently performing to a high standard.
- Seeking a challenge and ready to embrace the opportunity to succeed in a Partnership environment with no barriers to progression.
