Our Commercial Property Asset Management department has a vacancy for a Head of Treasury and Accounts Payable to provide support to the Partners and team. The role involves managing the Treasury and Accounts Payable teams on a day-to-day basis, dealing with personnel management, leading on reporting on the teams' processing, assisting in prioritising tasks, building relationships with key suppliers, and helping drive innovations to improve efficiency.
The purchase ledger team processes approximately 6-8,000 invoices a month, while the cashiering team deals with £250m in client cash a quarter.
What you will be responsible for:- Treasury: Manage a team of 4 Cashiers, ensure compliance with client money regulations, process all receipts and payments daily, validate all bank details, complete monthly bank reconciliations, and lead communication with senior leadership on performance and issues.
- Purchase Ledger: Manage a team of 6 accounts payable clerks, ensure efficient processing of purchase invoices, provide reporting on team performance, lead relationships with major suppliers, handle bailiff notices, and ensure adherence to changing regulations.
