About The Role
Knight Frank Nigeria is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Business Development Officer to support the growth of our real estate advisory, property/facility management and agency services. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for the property industry.
You will play a key role in originating new business, developing client relationships, and promoting Knight Frank’s market-leading services across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Knight Frank’s service lines including sales, leasing, valuation, property management, facility management, and advisory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Originate instructions and support Partners and Surveyors in executing business development strategies.
- Represent Knight Frank at client meetings, site inspections, networking events, and industry functions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and instructions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Person Specification
- A graduate in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in business development/sales in real estate consultancy, banking or insurance company (professional services environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian property market.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware.
- Professional, confident, and able to represent the Knight Frank brand with credibility.
