This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Knight Frank Property Management Sdn Bhd as a Building Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of commercial or residential properties within Klang Valley. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of these properties, working closely with the wider Property Management team.
What you'll be doing:- Manage and coordinate the maintenance, cleaning, and security services for the properties
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain high standards of property management
- Liaise with tenants, owners, and external contractors to address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to enhance the overall tenant experience
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Provide regular reports and updates to the management team
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a building or facilities management role, preferably in the commercial and/or residential property sector
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proficient in budget management and financial reporting
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
