Knight Electrical Switchgear is a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke low voltage switchgear and control panels. From our factory in Donyatt, Somerset, we build specialist equipment for hospitals, naval bases, renewable energy projects, museums, schools and commercial buildings throughout the UK.
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our production team. You don't need previous switchgear or panel building experience. If you've assembled, wired or tested electrical equipment in industries such as automotive, aerospace, rail, marine, defence or electrical manufacturing, we'll provide the training needed to develop your specialist skills.
The Role
Working from engineering drawings and electrical schematics, you'll assemble, wire and test bespoke switchgear and control panels to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
What We're Looking For
- Experience assembling, wiring or testing electrical equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Qualified electrician, electrical technician, or equivalent practical experience.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
